You Cannot Hide Behind Your Computer

The beauty of Internet Marketing is that you can use “new” technology to help you create massive leverage inside your business. You can automate certain tasks, use tools to reach a wider audience or even record a video that will play over and over without ever getting tired.

The one thing that a lot of people forget about though, is that Network Marketing is and always will be a people business. That means it is built on relationships and trust.

Yes, the Internet can help you get access to millions of people beyond your borders, but it will never be able to help you close business the way that personal contact with a potential prospect can.

You see, even though the Internet is a great place for information and is really a marvel of the 21st century, there is no denying, that it is also full of crap. There are unscrupulous individuals out there who are just waiting to make a quick buck from poor unsuspecting people. And this is the reality of the Internet market place.

So no matter how amazing your online sales funnel is, there is nothing that can create trust quicker than someone physically calling you.…

Is There Life After Google PPC?

As most of you are already aware, our industry took a huge beating very recently when Google decided that our business model wasn’t transparent enough for them. And when I say took a huge beating, I mean grabbed by the back of the neck, dragged out of the Google platform and kicked down the stairs, hitting every single stair on the way down.

It was pretty brutal.

Marketers all across our industry including myself, who were spending thousands of dollars every single month on this powerful platform, had our accounts deleted without a single word of warning.

No email or letter to say that we could make adjustments to our accounts.

Just “boom”. You’re outta here!

And traffic that use to pour in like clockwork, all of a sudden just stopped.

People were freaking out!

I know I was. Especially since Google had been the one massive source for leads and traffic for so many years on Internet land. What the heck were we suppose to do without them?!

Well, don’t worry my friends because the one good thing about tragedy, is that it makes you get uncomfortable so that you can step up and find another solution to your …

Keep Swimming

Two frogs fell into a deep cream bowl.
One was an optimistic soul.
But the other took the gloomy view.
“We’ll drown,” he lamented without much ado,
and with a last despairing cry,
he flung up his legs and said “Goodbye.”

Quote the other frog with a steadfast grin,
“I can’t get out but I won’t give in,
I’ll just swim around till my strength is spent,
then I’ll die the more content.”
Bravely he swam to work his scheme,
and his struggles began to churn the cream.

The more he swam, his legs a flutter,
the more the cream turned into butter.
On top of the butter at last he stopped,
and out of the bowl he gaily hopped.

What is the moral? It’s easily found…
If you can’t hop out, keep swimming around!

This cute little poem has extreme significance when looking at being a home based entrepreneur. And if you’re reading my blog right now, then chances are, you are probably one of them.
