Shogun (将軍) [shō'gən] – a military rank and historical title for Commanders in Chief of the Japanese imperial army. The title represented leadership, power, respect and most importantly, success.

Every man is an architect of his own fortune. This has always been one of my favourite phrases – well, aside from “work hard, play hard” – and it is the basis for the way I live my life. I believe that to create your own future is to take charge of your life. But what I don’t believe is that you should have to do it all on your own. Everyone needs a little bit of help along the way. The key is knowing this and wanting to be better. Wanting to make something of yourself. Wanting to win. Wanting to live the dream. As Will Smith said in The Pursuit of Happyness: “You got a dream, you got to protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you that you can’t do it. You want something? Go get it. Period.”

Welcome to my life. My story is a simple one. I grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Truly Asia – as the ad says) and started out as a dishwasher. I worked hard for many years and made my way to China where I got a sales role in a small financial services firm. I had come a long way. But I hated the 12 hour days, the 6 day a week routine, the monotony, the politics, the monkey suit and the three-foot cubicles. There had to be a better way. So I got out.

Welcome to my domain. Some people ask themselves how a 28 year old could possibly help them to live in abundance and retire rich? Well let me tell you. After being glued to a desk for 5 years, calling it quits and then building an online business from scratch. Rising to the top of my company’s compensation plan and winning a Master Marketing Award to boot – I think I can share a thing or two about beating the “system” and creating a lifestyle that you truly deserve. And after helping hundreds of people to master the skills they need to become masters of their own future – the rest as they say is history…
