I think that most people would agree that the most important thing that any network marketing business needs is LEADS…
Without a steady stream of leads and eyeballs looking at your business, you won’t be able to make ANY sales.
Pretty simple and something most of us already know.
But what about conversions?
You see, if you had a higher conversion rate. That means, if you have 2 out of 10 people join you in your business, instead of 1 out of every 10, you have just doubled your conversion rate. Which means you have doubled your sales. Which means more money in your pocket for less effort.
So instead of trying to generate MORE leads to make that extra sale, all you need to do is understand HOW to convert the ones you already have.
Make sense?
Good.
Now it’s easier said than done of course. I mean, if everyone knew how to double their conversion rate, then there would be tons of happy marketers out there and no need for this post you’re reading from me today.
And it’s really interesting, because what REALLY converts, isn’t what most people think.
Now first let’s think about what a prospect is looking for when they are out there doing research on Internet land.
1. Are they really looking for the next “big” thing that is going to make them filthy rich beyond their wildest dreams? Well who isn’t?! But contrary to popular belief, people are NOT looking for that.
2. Are they looking for a “super” product that will sell itself and make them millions in the next few days? Again no.
OR
3. Are they looking for someone honest that can show them exactly how to generate income realistically so that they can improve their crummy situation and get their life back on track? YES…. that’s exactly what most people are looking for.
You see, most marketers think that people will buy if they use the first 2 options. Sell the product. Sell the dream. Sell the lifestyle. And you know what, this works to a certain extent and you will get sales from that.
However, by using this type of marketing strategy, you will have an extremely LOW conversion rate and will be leaving A LOT of money on the table that your competitors will just swoop in and exploit!
Not to mention the amount of leads that you would need to generate in your business just to get those sales. Phew…
So back to point #3.
What REALLY converts?
You wouldn’t believe how many people are just looking for someone honest and straight forward to talk to about their business problems. Remember, people are trying to solve their OWN problems, NOT yours. So you need to put yourself in your prospects shoes and offer them something that will help them with THEIR business…
Education. Training. Direction. Leadership.
This is what people are looking for.
Not another juice company or nutritional business.
But having said that. If you can provide people with those 4 things I just mentioned, most will end up joining you in whatever business you are involved with anyway…
Be it a juice, pill or soap company. 
The other thing that converts like crazy, is actually telling your prospect straight up, that “This business is NOT going to be easy. You will NOT make 10 zillion dollars next month! However, if you put in the work and time, it can give you a lifestyle that most people only dream of…..”
Yup.
Sounds crazy right?
Who would have thought being THAT honest would double/triple your conversions?!
How do I know this?…
Cause I’ve tested it and that’s the main reason why my conversion rates are DOUBLE my company’s average.
If you have pictures of money, sports cars and sexy women sprawled all over your website, you’re going to want to take them down! Cause if there’s ONE thing that puts people off, it’s people “pretending” like they’ve made it big. And there’s nothing that gives that impression more than those types of images.
Be honest, be frank, be straight up.
That’s what will get your conversions up, and will get you ahead in this business. PERIOD!
