There is one strategy in the Network Marketing industry that is like the holy grail of marketing strategies. It is unfortunately also one of the toughest to master, however when understood and done well can really open the flood gates for a massive amount of free leads into your MLM business. Let me repeat that. An unlimited amount of FREE leads.

This strategy is called Search Engine Optimization, or better known as SEO. Now don’t let this technical term confuse you or turn you off. All it means is that your website will show up on the 1^st page of Google when people type in a certain keyword term that they are researching. Now the reason why this strategy is so powerful, is because studies show that more people tend to click on the organic results in Google rather than the sponsored advertising or pay per click ads on the right hand side. They also put more weight behind the natural search results because they are not paid for and is what Google deems as relevant based on the word that is being searched for.

So the key to this strategy is to get as many keywords as humanly possible onto the first page of Google for all the different keywords that pertain to your industry. In this case, Network Marketing. This way you will be able to target an audience that you know is already interested in what you have to offer. These are people that are already in Network Marketing, or are people who are interested in the business and are looking for more information.

The other great thing about SEO, is that it’s FREE. So just imagine owning online real estate for terms like “Home Based Business” or “MLM Leads”. If your website pops up on the first page of Google for these terms, you will have an endless supply of leads, and you won’t have to pay a cent for them! This is a lot better than having to wrestle with the Google Pay Per Click beast who has swallowed up many unsuspecting marketers. Now don’t get me wrong, Google PPC is an amazing platform that can yield some serious results, but it requires money, time and lots of patience.  Something that most people do not have. And if you can generate leads at no cost, well let’s just say that it sits a lot better with me.

So here are 3 things that you can do to rank on Google.

#1. Use Good Keywords

Use Google’s free keyword tool to search for keyword terms that are relevant to Network Marketing. Also check out the competition to make sure they are not so competitive that it will be impossible for you to get on the first page of Google.

#2. Use Keyword Tags Properly

When you create a website, be sure to fill in the Title Tags, Meta Tags and Description properly. It is essential that you use the keyword term in all 3. This is to ensure that Google will be able to locate and rank your website properly. There is no point having the most beautiful website in the world if Google can’t find it.

#3. Website Popularity

Google decides if something is important or not by the number of sites that point to it. So the more sites that have your website link on it, the more relevant and important Google will think it is. This means that you can have any number of articles, videos, websites or blogs that point to a website address that you wish to rank on Google’s first page. All you need to do, is create the content and start posting them on as many different places as you can. Then sit back and let Google’s algorithms do their work.

Last but not least, you do need to remember that this strategy does take time. It will take a while before your website can be located and ranked in the search engines.  So do be patient and you will be laughing all the way to the bank!
