It’s insane how quickly time flies. First you think you have plenty of time to do something then whoooosh, the next thing you know you’re knocking a few drinks back at a New Years Eve party.

But first of all. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. I hope you had a good year and you can look back say that you did everything that you set out to do.

It’s also a good (and important) time to look back and reflect on what is and what could have been.

Did you do everything you set out to do last year?

Did you take massive action and get yourself closer to the goals that you set yourself?

Did you structure a plan to help dig yourself out of that financial hole you buried yourself under?

I know I did.

Not the exact plan I originally had in mind. But you know what, it worked and I’m really fuckin happy about it. All I can say is that there is nothing more stressful than worrying about money. It’s a friggin pain in the ass! And I wouldn’t wish that burden upon my worst enemy.

So yeah, I’m pretty psyched about the way everything is going with my life. Finally on track.

Building a strong career again (picked up where I left off), and got the knowledge now to build a strong online business on the side that is literally paying me every single day.

2 words. Friggin awesome.

I don’t care that I have a fulltime job again. The point is that I’m financially viable. That I’m on my way to building a fortune. And it’s a nice feeling.

Sounds about right doesn’t it? You can’t reach your goals if you procrastinate. I don’t think I need to lecture you on that one. But I think it’s important that I point it out.

Anyway. The point is – if you didn’t reach your goals this year, don’t worry. You have a whole other year to do it. BUT, just don’t make the same mistake you did the last time. Because if you do, you’ll do it again next year. And the year after that. And you’ll end up – no where.

Man how time flies!

I can't believe it's already the end of year and Christmas is already around the corner. It's been a crazy year for me. 

In fact, lots of changes. Not only to my life and career but to my online business as well. And that's what you'll find when you decide to take that leap of faith and get involved with an online business. Things will change… All the time.

You may be working on one strategy today. And then find that you've moved onto something else tomorrow. It's just the way it works. It's what I call the "entrepreneurs curse". 

It can be a real pain in the ass if you don't keep it in check though. 

Here are a few tips to make sure you don't go astray.

1. Focus Focus Focus on strategies that work!

2. Give each marketing strategy you are working on enough time to generate results! Complete the tasks 100% before moving onto something else

3. Don't try to do everything yourself – outsource!

#3 is a big one. Seriously. If you're anything like me, and are a bit of a control freak. I have some advice for you. Let go… Because if you wanna control everything single little part of your business, you'll probably end up falling straight on your face. 

Outsource the tough everyday mundane stuff to the pros. Or the important stuff like – TRAFFIC.

I mean honestly ask yourself, would you rather spend thousands on training courses, then spend hours watching training videos on how to execute a Bing PPC strategy or how to use solo ads, or would you rather just pay someone (probably a little less or the same…) to run your entire campaign for you???

I choose the later!

If you're anything like me with a full time job, you don't have time watch hours and hours of videos and then spend hours everyday putting together your ad campaigns. Just get someone else to do it for you.

If you can do that, you'll find that your business will grow so much quicker, and you'll be less stressed about it. Seriously.

Here's my advice. 

Get your sales funnel outsourced.

Get your traffic outsourced.

Work on your own conversions and emails.

Make shit loads of money!!!

My chicken pot pie I just ordered is getting cold sitting here on the table so, before I leave, I just want to wish you a Merry Christmas! I hope all your dreams and business successes happen in 2013. And if they didn't in 2012, then make sure you get your ass in gear and make it happen next year.

As I'm spending literally a couple grand on Christmas presents this year, I'm reminded of why I got into online business in the first place.

It's so I can afford to do, well, anything I bloody well please.

So, you wanna succeed online hey? But you got that full time job right?

Well, I never had that problem until recently. You see, I got lucky when I first started my online venture 3 years ago. I had saved enough money right from the start, so I went all in and just did it full time to begin with.

Now when I look back, that was a good and bad thing. 

Good in the sense, I could focus 100% on my work. But bad because I had so much time, that I spent alot of time on things that didn't really generate me much income because I wanted to do EVERYTHING myself.

Now you could be having that same issue too. It's actually very common.

Fast forward 3 years later, and things didn't really work out the way I had planned. I mean I had some major successes online. But I also had a lot of failures. I mean, I've generated thousands of leads, made $16,776 in a single day, sponsored 100s of people into my teams, wons awards online, and have been top of some of the businesses that I've been in. But in the end, it wasn't enough to sustain my life 100%.

So after battling with myself for months, I decided to go back into the work force.

I know I know. Sounds crazy right? I hated myself for doing it, but I'm looking to get married soon, and I just had to be responsible. And thats the honest answer. 

And I gotta tell you. It sucked getting back into the corporate world. But the reality is, I'm great at it. Kicking ass in my job now. But then, my first love has always been and always will be, growing an online business. Which is why I'm still here.

The one thing that has changed immensely, is the stress. I no longer have financial stress. Which is what I was carrying for 3 years while 100% fulltime online. It's a fuckin pain the ass. No joke. So anyway, now that I have a fulltime job again, but all this knowledge on how to build my business online, I had to make some serious changes. You see when I was working fulltime, I had so much time that I did EVERYTHING. I was the lead generator, the design specialist, the blog editor, the phone operator, the secretary and the bitch (to my team).

And only one word comes to mind when I think about this – STUPIDITY!

Why oh why would anyone want to run their business like that?!!

Remember this phrase: You want to work ON your business, not IN your business.

If you get that. You will be successful.

So now that I have 1/10th the time to work on my business with my fulltime job (just like many many of your reading this), I had to completely change the way I ran it.

Well almost everything.
