But in order to be effective, even as a part timer you will need to put aside at least 2 to 3 hours a day into your business if you want to see any real developments. And if you’re serious about making some extra money, by hook or by crook, you should find a way to make that happen.

2. Lack Of Patience

People tend to forget that Network Marketing is a real business, and just like any real business, it takes time to grow. And in this industry, there are many ways to generate leads and traffic into your business. But what I’ve seen countless times, is people trying out one strategy for a few days, not getting any leads or business from it, and then throwing that strategy out the window and moving onto another one. This becomes a vicious cycle, which results in total failure and the person quitting the business altogether.

The answer to this problem is to be patient. Focus on one or two strategies, become an expert at them, and keep doing them every single day. Do not stop and remember that it takes time to build some traction with your marketing efforts, whether you are building your business online or offline.

3. Over Diversifying

How many companies does the average person work for? I would say, just ONE. So why is it that so many people in Network Marketing, work with 2, 3 and even 4 MLM companies?! 3. Article Marketing – This strategy allows you to position yourself as an expert and provide valuable information to many prospects that are seeking help and guidance. Once you have come up with some good material, it is all about posting them on relevant sites like Ezine Articles or Go Articles and turning cold suspects into warm prospects.

4. Free Classifieds – Using some great copy which you can get good at with the right training, you can post ads on sites like Craigslist and Backpage to advertise your opportunity and generate leads.

5. Pay Per Click Advertising – This is the number one strategy of all the top producers in this business and can be very tough and daunting, but when done well will generate the MOST leads out of any of your marketing strategies in days. Not weeks or months.
